JoJo

Welcome JoJo to the flock! Two year old JoJo came to us in October, 2019. This pretty muscovy lady was pinioned as a duckling, so is unable to fly. Jojo is an assertive, thoughtful and cautious duck who has transitioned into the flock quite nicely. We are in love with her noises and her curious stare.

Frida

Frida was surrendered at the San Gabriel Humane Society in southern California after living with the same family for over 12 years. She was severely depressed and starting to get aggressive with the staff members. She had run out of options, and staff and volunteers were worried about her poor psychological state. Frida came to live with Sloppy Seconds in November, 2019. She had never met another piggy in her life! After a month-long adjustment period and recovery from her spay surgery, she is now completely integrated with our other pigs and doing very well. At 252 pounds, she is a big ‘ol love who topples over easily at the brush of her belly.
